Album Notes

Live at Bob's was recorded at the home of Bob Druker in Mequon Wisconsin in late Sept. 2008. With a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and Ma Nature in full cooperation, microphones were set up, levels checked and a slew of my favorite songs, old and new were performed with the help of three of my favorite musicians. Mike Sieger, who has been my brother for as long as I can remember, played the bass and sang the close brother harmonies. Bill Dwyer, is the most underrated guitar player I met in my Nashville days and probably the most swinging and sympathetic musician I've worked with. Kelli Gonzalez, who sings with my band, The Subcontinentals, is the owner of a fine, smoky and very soulful voice. The crowd was enthusiastic, the acoustics perfect and, with the help of live sound engineer Steve Hawkins and recording engineer Kyle White, the whole thing was captured in high fidelity for posterity.
