Live at Bob's was recorded at the home of Bob Druker in Mequon Wisconsin in late Sept. 2008. With a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and Ma Nature in full cooperation, microphones were set up, levels checked and a slew of my favorite songs, old and new were performed with the help of three of my favorite musicians. Mike Sieger, who has been my brother for as long as I can remember, played the bass and sang the close brother harmonies. Bill Dwyer, is the most underrated guitar player I met in my Nashville days and probably the most swinging and sympathetic musician I've worked with. Kelli Gonzalez, who sings with my band, The Subcontinentals, is the owner of a fine, smoky and very soulful voice. The crowd was enthusiastic, the acoustics perfect and, with the help of live sound engineer Steve Hawkins and recording engineer Kyle White, the whole thing was captured in high fidelity for posterity. Hope you like it!

"Live at Bob's"

Totally LOVE this CD! Super-great guitar work and vocals. Every song is a winner---how unusual is that!!! Love the variety---blusey to upbeat to quiet songs---all with great stories and twists. Although it is hard to choose a favorite, I guess mine would be, "When My Angel Smiles."

I just love the variety of songs on this cd. 'Won't You Call Me?' practically made me cry. Then the devilish 'The Devil's in the Back Seat' made me laugh. All the songs are winners, but I have to say that 'Love Knocks the Wind out of You' is my favorite. Sieger writes great songs and his singing style is very appealing. I have several of his cds and I like this one the best.

I was stuck in a huge traffic jam - rush hour compunded by baseball patrons leaving Miller Park, but it didn't matter. I was listening to Sieger's new CD. Honest to goodness, it put me in a mellow frame of mind. My favorites are 'House of Cards' and 'Love Knocks the Wind out of You' and 'Remember Me.' There's some wicked stuff and tenderness and humor, too. Just great.
