Together, this group of guys begin playing music in Virginia, performing in every honky tonk, night club, bar and dive they could. In the early 90's, they would enter an event of musical competition called "The Country Pickin' Festival" in Lynchburg, Virginia sponsored by 105.5 KD Country, WKDE Radio. The band took high honors for three years straight during '92, '93 & '94. The band went on to work with national acts such as Waylon Jennings, Johnny Paycheck, George Jones, Marty Stuart and many, many more.

Today, John Sines, Jr. can be found singing songs of faith, family and county at festivals, fairs, corporations, theatres, churches and other family friendly events! His live show consists of positive country music that sounds much like that of Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson and Randy Travis while rooted in the principles of gospel music.

The "castle" is my favorite song. I used to request this every time I came out to see you. I also like, Just a little too far, and hang on heart. Love this CD.
