I was concerned that 'goDs', would lack the musicality that 'Tied' brought to the table, but what a pleasant surprise! From the whimsy of 'Toes', the small town angst of 'Eddie' or the scathing 'Grocery', I am once again sold on Kaydi. Talented tunesmith and storyteller extraordinaire, everyone should own at least one of her cd's. I have them all..Thanks for the ride Kaydi!!

Kaydi has a great way with words--the images conjured up in 'Eddie' are very real and vibrant--humorous and far-seeing all at the same time.  'Great American Grocery Store' is another favorite of mine.  I purchased this album for myself--but my wife loves it even more.

I've listened to this album many times...knowing Kaydi and having her album "Tied"..
This work is so good..she finds a way to send you on a journey..in each of her songs..and the songs all stand on their own.
One night I had it on for 5 hours..and it filled my room with the magic that comes from good songs and good artists.
As a musician & a writer myself..for many moons..I do appreciate the way she is able to weave and boil down her thoughts & visions..Its good...Real Good!

we all have favorite songs.some we remember fondly from our past and others just catch us with a hook.very rarely however a song bursts like a supernova into our souls."holding the light"is one of those songs for me.this masterpiece is framed in a collection of stories that run the gamut from comical to cynical to heart wrenching.one does not listen to this cd as much as one experiences it.it must not be missed.
