John Todd, my multi-talented husband composes music. It\'s a gift he was born with and has always enjoyed. He\'s not a trained musician, but music is in his being. It\'s how he communes with his Maker.
Since most of his music was done for movies, his works contain a range of music styles from lullabies to action-packed police chase scores, from waltzes to calls to arms, and from hymns to bawdy street themes. Yet, through it all you will recognize his inimitable style.
So far, we have put together 3 CDs of his works. The first one here is \"Requiem, 9/11 Remembered\" which is described below. The other two will be available soon. They are \"A Few of My Favorite Themes\" and \"From the Heart\". Watch for them and more to come.
Ann L. Todd
Requiem is a work that John put together in the aftermath of the terrorists acts of 9/11/01 on New York City, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania. It\'s a requiem for all those lost in the atrocities, and to the way of life which Americans may not ever know again. It contains music with all the emotions you would expect in such a requiem, but is undergirded with the sounds of hope, strength and American resolve that the terrorists never expected.
