Album Notes
«Through the Dust» is the fascinating result of a collaboration of native-american author, poet, actor, musician, and former political activist John Trudell with swiss producer Jonas «Kwest» Leuenberger (Mundartisten, Lapcat, The Coyote Wrestler). The 8 tracks which feature John Trudell's poetry and Kwest's music bridge the gap between continents, generations and styles. Call it a spoken word album, if you must, but you better don't call it poetry: «They‘re called poems but in reality they‘re lines, given to me to hang on to».

«Through the Dust» was released in April 2014 by Kwest's own indie label MARecords in Switzerland and will be available internationally as a CD by Mayday, 1st of May 2014. Guest musicians include Hans-Jakob Mühlethaler (Mundartisten, Chocolococolo, Lapcat), Dimitri Hefermehl (Mundartisten), Cate Darling aka Cate Coslor (Lapcat), Katarina Stoykova (Wolfman), Ramaya Soskin (A Ballad Nightly), Jeb Bows and Marie Jeger.
