Welcome to the emotive vocal styling of singer-songwriter Joii Foxx. In Joii's first recording, Shower The World you'll get a glimpse of the many natural talents of this eloquently, gifted artist. When you listen to Innocent Eyes you hear a beautiful, soft melodic pitch to love and protect children. Shower the World serenades a consciousness of peace among individuals. Don't Wanna Be is a sweet, mellow, "quietstorm" R&B rhythm reminiscent of a soulful Phyllis Hyman, Chaka Kahn, Tina Marie, Regina Belle or Roberta Flack. The video produced for the CD title release - Shower the World, was in medium to heavy rotation on BET. The second single release, Don't Wanna Be can be heard in Europe and domestically on adult contemporary and R&B stations, through-out.

The disc contains 12 tracks of compellingly rich, melodic vocals with various urban-flavored arrangements from R&B, soul, old-school 80's styled house, and a smooth country western like ballad. Of the twelve, four were written by Joii: Don't Wanna Be, Stay Away, Innocent Eyes and Crazy for You. "My lyrics are a mixture of honest emotions and experiences. That's what writing does for me; it keeps me in touch with my feelings and true to my inner spirit, reflects Joii.
