Album Notes
Jon1John2 is BORN!!
jon1john2 is an acoustic duo made up of two talented musicians, John Pio and and Jon Anderson. Each brings a unique perspective to this folksy, roots-style group that plays music about life, love, Americana, and the pursuit of happiness. Their music consists of upbeat originals mixed with well-known covers that are sure to put smiles on faces!

Jon1 - Mr. J. Anderson
Jon Anderson brings multiple talents to the group, including mandolin, bass, guitar, banjo, violin, kazoo, French horn, didgeridoo, glockenspiel, Great Highland Bagpipe and various other obscure musical instruments. His background in IT and electronics assisted him in building the world’s largest electronic bouzouki, earning him a place in Guinness’s Book of World Records in 2003. Known as the Hurdy Gurdy man, his modern interpretation of the glockenspiel can be heard on several tracks of the recent collaboration between Alison Kraus and Rob Zombie. Jon is currently developing software for Banjo Hero, expected for release on the Wii platform in 2011.

John2 - Mr. J. Piotraschke
John Piot grew up in (Michael) Johnsonville, learning the guitar and piano at the age of 18 months. A graduate of Juilliard by age 14, John’s mastering of several styles of guitar picking, including Travis picking, Scruggs style, Clawhammer/frailing, as well as a complete mastering of several variations of flamenco playing, apoyando and tirando styles make him an in-demand session guitarist in both the Twin Cities and Nashville music scenes. Only close friendships and the Elm Creek bike trails keep him firmly grounded in Minnesota. He is currently majority shareholder of Chipotle, Inc.
