I’ve been writing music since I first met my wife. Love for her motivated the first song and now my love for God – or rather His love for me as a victim of grace – continues to motivate the songs I am fortunate enough to write today.
It is an amazing thing to realize that you are a victim of grace. You did not ask for it, did not deserve it – blindsided by His love. Before you ever realized – maybe not even yet – that you needed rescue, you were rescued. Rescued because He loves. The question is not whether God loves you – He has proven His love for you by sending His Son Jesus to die for you – but what will you do with His love – what will you do with Jesus?
I hope these songs reveal who Jesus is, His love for you and that they will encourage you to live fully in His love. I’m not talking about religion, not even talking about being a “Christian” – I am talking about becoming a friend of Jesus.
Not much else to say. I hope you will let the lyrics and the music speak to your heart and then you decide. No matter, you have a reason to live and His name is Jesus.

I love this cd! Every song touches your heart and reflects a man who is deeply in "tune" with God. My favorite song is "Beautiful Scars". Everytime I listen to it, tears come to my eyes. The more I listen they pretty much are all favorites. I highly recommend this cd and I predict "Beautiful Scars" is on it's way to be amazing.

One of the great things about reviewing this album is that I know the heart of the man behind the album (and that heart is good!). And I know the man behind the man…Jesus. The lyrics are inspiring, the melodies contagious. It’s the kind of music that works great as background music on a road trip, yet has powerful messages that speak directly to your heart and translate the Gospel into everyday words and everyday situations. Each song is a prayer. Thanks Jon for sharing your heart for Jesus with all of us through your music. And, finally, I highly recommend this album! : )
