Athough God is referred to as a father only about 10 times in the entire Old Testament of the Bible, it's always been amazing to me that when Jesus comes on the scene everything changes. God is then referred to as our father over 300 times throughout the pages of the New Testament! 300 times! The life of Jesus has settled once and for all how our Heavenly Father feels toward us as Jesus himself said: "If you have seen me you have seen the Father."

"What Amazing Love" began as a song to God as Father and quickly evolved into a celebration of Jesus as well, who has forever opened the way to right relationship between God and man. All those who have put their trust in Jesus alone for salvation will have the indescribable thrill of eternal life in the presence of God, forever discovering facet after facet of the majesty, power, goodness and grace of our Father. What amazing love, and we don't even deserve it! Still he lavishes it upon us daily as we continually learn what it means to walk with the God who created us.
