As an educator, affectionately know as "The Professor", Jon has trained 3-83 year old students with his musical mastery, humility, humor, and genuine love for people. In the heart of his music lies a pulse that can not be recreated, since it is his musical DNA woven throughout each composition. As you listen to each song, you will find new sounding ideas that complement who you are and what he is. Connecting to the audience and providing a real musical experience that exchanges feelings of joy, love, peace, family, and good work ethic allows Jon to musically write about life issues that matters to real people.
Integrity and quality means more now than ever before. In this music, each instrument can be heard playing ideas democratically and sharing the spot light to give each sound a chance to shine notes on the record. This doesn't happen to often in music today. Jon, like Miles Davis enjoyed sharing the stage with talented people who are inspiring, honest, and hard working. Since Jon can play virtually all of the instruments on the planet, he is like a conductor who's symphony is the world, which produces new life constantly.
Jon enjoys his family and grand kids in jam sessions and music lesson. You can hear how much he loves his family through the music he plays. A family that plays together will stay together. He is like a modern day Bach, Duke, Mozart, or a George Washington Cover of the peanut notes grown in the music lab! His current goals include touring, producing, writing, composing film scores, Lectures, Clinics, and Master Classes to teach people about the business of music. Moreover, Jon takes great care to include the balance of health, music, Wellness, and Wealth choices, which is the creation and essence of Jon's latest project Nuvia Smooth. It's cool to have a Dad so Hip!
