Jon Bentley is a bread baker, musician, and amateur astronaut from the Northern Utah area. His hometown, Ogden, is nestled snugly between a nuclear waste facility and a government weapons testing site but is really quite wonderful. He grew up exploring the canyons and foothills of the Wasatch mountains as well as the burnt-out factories and train stations left over from the thirties. He began writing songs when he was twelve and “The Long-Awaited Telling of My Time Travel Adventures” is his first and finest album to date. It features his lovely wife Katy on several tracks and is about fifty percent acoustic and fifty percent electronic. Give it a taste.
