I can honestly say that I have not had my attention captured, as smoothly, purely and completely as Jon Davidson has accomplished with this album. I don't ever want him to stop singing. He awoke the soul of each song, his emotion, drive, passion, love, "the writing the lp that was screaming inside him to write" Perfectly done and I want to thank him, for introducing these amazing songs, for us, the listeners, the fans. the lovers of brilliant music, to the soul of each of us. Amazing CD Jon!

This is the greatest CD I've ever owned! I cannot remove it from my car! I even ordered more so I can keep one in my car, one in my home stereo, and one at work. There are so many great things about this CD that I don't even know where to start! It appeals to a wide variety of music lovers. It ranges from soft to hard and right back again. His voice is amazing and musical talent is impressive. My favorite part of the whole thing is how much the lyrics speak to you. His emotion and honesty are conveyed through his songs and each one seems to relate to you personally. Though understandable, the cryptic style of his message is very creative. He is a very dynamic musician with some very poignant messages that you cannot miss! His music will move you, his voice will make you melt, and his lyrics will inspire you. So much talent!

Mix It Up

Jon Davidson is no ordinary singer/songwriter. He knows how to write a good ballad, but he spaces the soft stuff out with actual rock tracks. "Hermit Crab" is a great rock song, with rich instrumentation. "What Can I Say" is a beautiful, acoustic love song. Jon's vocals are strong and full of emotion. This album could've benefitted from a couple more uptempo songs; the overall feel gets a little slow towards the end.
