Born in Vladimirovac, Voivodina (Province in Serbia) of Vlac/Romanian ancestry. Musician from the age of 7. Guitarist & composer of the group LIGHTNING TREE (also available through CDbaby digital distribution partners). Influenced by many genres: Rock, Metal, Jazz, Blues, Classical, European Folk, Middle-Eastern, Chinese Folk, Japanese Folk & Flamenco. Full name is Jonel Boljanac - Mandres [mother added grandfather's last name Mandres when they moved to the U.S.]. Art work for this recording was incomplete but was used anyways for this pager because it looked cool.

Track 1 The Phoenix is at a tempo of 200 in 8/64 time signature (after the intro melody, where the drum beat starts), one of the fastest original guitar compositions, after the intro it's 20 notes per second through most of the piece except for moments in the solo where they're are bends & raises to 26.5 notes per second. Features 4 octave super high speed scales on 7 string electric guitar! No sweeps, No hammer ons or pull offs! This is pure ALTERNATE PICKING/SUPER SHRED!

The rest of the tracks are an eclectic mixture of genres on 7-string electric guitar & also early demo recordings of symphonic instrumentals.
