I love this CD. I bought it awhile ago at one of their live shows and think it's great. The two cover songs are really cool too.

These guys are what Long Island needed! This is the only Rock n Roll band from Long Island. Mix some good old fashioned Rock n Roll, a little Ramones, and a whole lot of attitude and you've got yourself Jones Crusher. This 10 song CD also includes a Buzzcocks cover and a Wall Of Voodoo song. Buy this. It's cheap and great. This may be LI's best band. I love it.

Jones Crusher's debut CD is finally out and it is the New York City's self-described pulp rockers new release on the Cold Front records label. It's fast paced fun featuring blistering sound and steady instrumentation. With its cheesy comic book cover the packaging may have you tearing the thing apart looking for the comic. But don't do it! There isn't one there and you're supposed to listen to it. So listen to it! - Hollis P. Lance

Jones Crusher remind me of a heavier Dead Kennedys in a sense, especially on their banging number, "Get Off The Grass," which is actually a pretty funny song. "Hey kids you better get off the grass/I have a size 12 shoe I'm gonna stick it up your ass." Every single one of us can remember that uptight prick of a neighbor on our block growing up. The Jones boys also let loose with some heated versions of The Buzzcocks "What Do I Get?" and Wall Of Voodoo's "Mexican Radio."
