Album Notes

"The Lake" took nearly 4 years to complete and is an accumulation of songs written by Jon Garcia and performed along side various members of some of Portland, Oregon's most prominent local talent. With thought provoking lyrics and dreamy soundscapes, the album is an impressive follow up to his self-titled release in 2007. The albums illustrations paint an adequate picture of the feeling of the record, somber, dreamy, but with uplifting elements at times.
