In the City that Snow Forgot…

New Orleans songwriters Jon Hébert and Dan Rivers have teamed up to tell the story of the day it snow-snow-snowed down on Brr-Brr-Bourbon Street.

About the song, Jon says, "I had this idea in my head for about four years to write Brr Brr Bourbon Street, but I could never figure out the verses of the song. I met Dan a few years back at an NSAI songwriting group that he runs in New Orleans. We had a good run writing a few songs before this one, so I contacted him to help me bring it home. This is a song that everyone can enjoy."

Dan says, "Jon and I hit it off and got some publishers attention after we collaborated on the first few songs. We started meeting regularly. I loved the idea Jon brought to this writing session and had a great time putting these phrases together about our home town here in New Orleans. Jon did a great job on the recording. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did writing it!"

Brr Brr Bourbon Street was recorded and produced by Jon Hébert (he sings and plays guitar, too).
