Jon was born into a house where music was playing almost all day...everyday. This should come as no surprise once you know that Jon's Mom had attended the Toronto Conservatory of Music and studied piano. Hearing the "Big Band" sounds of Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman coupled with the sounds of Pop/Rock Music coming from his older brother's room fueled his passion and love for music.

After spending years learning the fundamentals in his local school's music education program, private study at a music college, extensive gigging as a Drummer with several touring bands and jamming stints with the likes of "Fran Sheehan"...Bassist from the amazingly successful band "Boston"...Jon emerged as a powerful Singer/Songwriter. Listen to the music!

On one very special evening and after hearing his 4 track demo tapes, Jon's Producer for the "It Must Be Love" album, encouraged Jon to record his debut album. (His Producer, a Multi-Platinum Album artist and former CBS Records Recording Artist has recorded and/or toured with the likes of: Tina Turner, Leo Sayer, The Pointer Sisters and Burton Cummings of "The Guess Who"; to name a few.)

This compilation of 8 incredible songs....most of which (7) were composed from lyrics written many years ago following the breakup with his high school sweetheart of 2 years Monica...his first " True Love" and his first marriage to the wonderful woman he loved dearly and had hoped would last forever! Listen to this Tenor, voicing emotional lyrics through each song supported by great melodies, catchy rhythms and captivating synthesizer leads. Oh...and don't be surprised if you find yourself comparing Jon's vocal style and sound to the great singing styles of: Paul Rodgers (Free and Bad Company), Steve Perry (Journey) and Lou Gramm (Foreigner)...'cause many have.
