Album Notes

Recorded in 2010-11, this collection of songs and remixes plays genre hopscotch across it's 15 tracks. Encompassing pop, soul, rock, funk, hip-hop, techno, indie, disco, post-dubstep and other nonsense pigeonholing (for there are only two types of music), this London based band and an array of talented remixers have delivered a melting pot of good music.

Exploring timeless themes of love, loss and identity these evocative songs are presented here in a cocktail of spanish guitar, memphis horns, latin percussion, 70s strings, and a solid funk band.

Between 2003 and 2011, Jono Trott wrote the 9 songs on this album and performed them as a solo artist. Tired of playing alone and aware the songs would really come to life with a full band, Jono and The Dogs were formed in 2009; Pawel Kucharski on bass, Dawid Brzowzski on tenor sax and percussion, Jon Sibley and Ric Cryne on drums.
