Album Notes

With his newest CD, the “Jedi of Cool” returns to intergalactic space, exploring other worlds, alien voices and new extraterrestrial grooves. The music blends elements of rock, jazz, funk and deep space, taking the listener on a cosmic voyage that’s both familiar and strange.

Music is the heartbeat of the universe, and if they’re dancing on a planet circling Alpha Centauri, these just might be the sounds they hear.

O'Bergh has released six previous CDs: "Millennial Landscapes," “Carta,” "Sacred Spaces," "Meditations from a Lost World," “Songs from Other Planets,” and "Specters of Twilight" (the latter on the Peal Jazz label). He has performed and recorded with the jazz/funk fusion band Gemini Soul.
