The Catholic Music Project 8: Advent, is a collection of well known Advent hymns used in Catholic worship. These solo piano arrangements are designed with singers and congregations without a musician in mind. They are played simply with intros and endings the way one would accompany a church service. They also make great background tracks for prayer services and private meditation.

This project(Volume 8),completes the liturgical year for this series. Future releases will cover additional Ordinary time hymns, mass settings and psalms. While having a live competent is ALWAYS preferred, the Catholic Music Project Series provides a needed service for:
* Congregations without Musicians
* Vocalists who need tracks for various ministries
* Prayer and Penance Services
* Practice tracks for choir members and cantors
* Arrangement and playing ideas for the volunteer musician
* Teaching children & adults basic Catholic repertoire

Jon Sarta is Director of Music at Resurrection Cathoilc Church in Winter Garden, FL and has been active in Catholic music ministry for 17 years. This is his 14th release on the MLJ Music label.
