Jon Zucker, a former Wall Street trader turned songwriter extraordinaire, has already become a mainstay on the LA music scene only a few months after relocating from New York's East Village. His songs have been compared to the work of artists like Bruce Springsteen and Ben Folds, and his captivating live performance is often compared to that of Billy Joel, who gave Jon his first break when he invited him onstage to play a duet with him in Philadelphia.
He released his debut EP, APRIL RAIN, in 2005, and enjoyed a steady gig at Manhattan's famed club THE CUTTING ROOM before heading west. Jon is now a regular at LA venues such as The Knitting Factory, Room 5, The Gig and Club Good Hurt, both as a solo artist and with his band, WAYWARD SONS. He is currently recording his first full-length LP at Strate Sound Studios with the legendary Alan Sanderson producing. Jon is actively pursuing TV and film licensing deals for his songs.
