BIOGRAPHY:
From the great landmark city of Seattle, Washington, Jordan Lake initially began his music career as a solo artist. At just 18 years old, Lake released his first full-length album, “A Collection of the Past,” in November of 2008. Filled with personal lyrics and alluring melodies, this foundational album is truly a breath of fresh air from start to finish.
Soon after his debut, Lake found himself collaborating with the highly talented Alex Douthitt (Electric guitar). Experimenting with the additions of powerful lead guitar parts and improvised solos, Jordan’s original piano/acoustic-based songs have developed with a new kind of energy. After pairing up with Lifeguard buddy Alex Peterson (Drums) and friend Zach Stoddard (Bass), this fresh new four-piece became the newly titled Jordan Lake Band.
Now with new innovative members, JLB plans to re-record Jordan’s first solo album as a group with strong new revisions, as well as several new works. (A preview of these new song versions can be seen in the live video section of their EPK). Recording plans have begun for the band’s new release; eagerly anticipated by their fans across the West Coast.
Recently, JLB has been recognized by some of Seattle’s most well-known radio DJs. Their young ambition has caught the eye of several well-known producers and labels, and their radio airtime has extended to radio stations as far as Colorado.
With Lake’s lyrics and songwriting, and the band’s musical talent, their success shows high hopes for their coming future. JLB has remained independently supported so far, but lately, many tempting offers have been coming their way. There’s no sense in trying to describe their sound to you using artificial words, for you can just let the music speak for itself.
