ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My name is Jordan west and I grew up in a town named abbotsford BC. As a young kid, i travelled quite a lot with my family and lived all over Canada. I began to play music at 17 years old and very much enjoyed it. I recorded my first CD at 20 years old and a second CD is in the works. I spent a few months living in Winnipeg spending all of my days and nights writing and playing music. A lot of my inspiration came from time that I spent in the intercity of Winnipeg hanging out with a lot of people who were down and out. I have toured with Jacob and Lily in Western Canada two times and have played numerous shows otherwise. I hope you thoroughly enjoy the music and other such good things.

an inspired individual
i play this cd in my coffee shop quite often and get lots of comments/compliments about the interesting and unique vocal and instrumental talents. the man who has written these songs is a man of influence and integrity; a man of God whose heart is bursting with love and compassion for those not as fortunate. that alone should make you listen to this cd, and support jordan through his adventursome endevours in the future...for his is a name you will hear more of as time progresses.

Raw and very honest.
I really enjoy this disk, espechally since it was a gift from Jorden himself. I love the mix of male and female vocals. The choices of orcatration really add to the emotional content of the lyrics. I treasure this disk and feel blessed to know Jordan. Hows that for overdoing it, ha! You know how I do!

Solid Album Start to Finish. Songs Stick With You
From the second you put the album in and listen, you are encaptured with it's sounds and would have a hard time tuning out. It combines elements of folk and rock in ways that are seldom heard and very powerful. In many ways, it is an essential to any music lovers collection and shouldn't be parted with.

Jordan's CD is emotional, honest, and draws the listener in.
Jordan's unique sound draws his listeners into an emotional and honest place where nothing matters but the music - there are no corny rhymes or gimmicks on this CD, instead the listener is presented a simplistic and yet profound message that shows us who the artist is and strives to become.

Hauntingly deep, a journey to the very heart!
A powerfully moving collection of songs/stories that convey the very heart of the human condition. Not only could I relate personally to the stories and feelings of this collection, but I find it a safe place to retreat. Also getting caught up with the melodies and harmonies.

I love this guy
This musician is good stuff. Personally I think he is a very talented individual with much to bring to the table. His music is creative and I look forward to his next album, basically I'm not quite sure how many of our local radio stations broadcast so much garbage, when there are talented artists out there. JTW has skills and I'm sure one day he'll be headlining at HullFest!
