Like the career of many great musicians, Jordeen Wilson’s musical journey began in church at the Tower Hill Assembly Church of God which located on the outskirt of Montego Bay, St. James.

She remembers being called upon as early as five (5) years old, to render items in Sunday School. By age twelve (12), she was asked to lead sing on the youth choir of which she was the youngest member.

Jordeen is very strong academically and during her adolescent years saw music as a hobby that was practiced mostly at church. Through the church’s ministry, she has performed at many local concerts, rallies and gospel showcase.

This musical strength has aligned her force with popular local band such as New Generation and has been the lead singer for the band, Gospel Vibrators. It was at rehearsal with The Vibrators that she captured the attention of International acclaimed Bass player and producer, Othniel ‘Taddy P’ Campbell.

Campbell has been instrumental in channeling the young talent on the road to pursuing a career in the local and international gospel arena.

Jordeen has since been a finalist in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Gospel Festival in 2006 where she came out third place.

While gaining experience in stage performance, Jordeen’s evolution as an artiste continues to unfold with the discovery of her skills a song writer while preparing to release her first album.

She manages all of this while being a full time student at the Cornwall School of Nursing, St. James where she is pursuing a diploma course in Midwifery.
