“Instant like–ability” is the feeling you get with vocalist, Amy Jordyn, whether you listen to her album, see her perform in person or meet her at her autograph table at a concert. This Arkansas native will make you feel right home. Her music and personality will make you want to “take off your shoes and stay awhile.” The heart felt lyrics are just straight up country, but you will also be cranking up the sound because the music will move you.

Amy didn’t want to sing when she was young. She was very shy, but she practiced in the bathroom, using a showerhead as a microphone. She knew she could carry a tune, but was never obsessed with the idea of a singing career. “I don’t know the actual date or when that little light bulb in my head came on, but my desire to sing for others had become very strong. Country music was just right down my alley. I not only wanted to sing a song, but I wanted the audience to enjoy it and tag that song as their own. When I told my Mom that I wanted to sing, she totally freaked out,” says Amy. She gives credit to her mother who has been singing most of her life. Amy is convinced her mother has passed some talent on to her.

Amy has just finished her first album in Nashville this year. It was produced by Jim Whitaker and engineered and recorded by George Clinton in his Bayou Recording Studio. Clinton’s engineering talent can be heard on many Reba McIntire and Alabama albums. Amy’s album is Country with a kick with a touch of Pop. When you discover Amy, you will have “instant like–ability” with her and her music.
