God is my love and God is the source of my supply. These are the words I live by each day. It did take
quite a while for me to understand this but once I did, life started getting better and better.

Having God as the most important part of my life was not one of those instantaneous change my life right now events. There were no earth shaking realizations that everything was different and better, just a small feeling way down deep inside that finally things were going to be better with and for me. It was, and still is, an everyday waking up, oh so slowly sometimes, to the fact that God is very real and very much right here with us and He is the source of our supply. I started having a feeling of self worth and the fear of failing everything I thought about doing was being replaced by knowing God was all ways with-in to be called on for what ever help I needed. I soon discovered that you could pray for help as well as you could give thanks. One thing I'll be ever thankful for is that God let me live long enough to welcome Him into my life, now He's the most important part of my life.

Starting to go to church was certainly a big step for me to take to seek internal peace, praying came next and yet I held off, not knowing what to expect. I had been in entertainment for many years and I just wasn't sure God would fit in my plans. Mine was a bit of a rowdy existence for your average church goer and I really feared what would happen. Finally I came to know that God fits in anywhere and if you trust to His plan, you don't have to worry about your plan.

A long time friend asked me a while back if I could prove to him there was a God. I told him that indeed I could not but that I could certainly tell him what God had and does do for me and what He would do for him if he'd just ask. I told him that the proof is within for each of us and we must seek it out ourselves. It is my sincere desire to help others know the joy and peace that has been mine and to share this great never-ending love that dwells in each of us and yet is so often ignored. I've come to know that God has a plan for me and I pray to carry it out the very best I can. No, I'm not certain exactly what that plan is but I do know that God knows and will reveal it to me when He is ready. In the mean time I start each day with a prayer for the guidance I need to do His work. If I can touch someone with the songs God blesses me with then I know I'm on the way to doing, as He would have me do.
