Album Notes

"A test for the Soul" is an album that collects all of my experience throughout my career as a guitarist. The variety of genres of music I work is to answer the personal approach that I have about the Music; for me only two types of music exist: Bad and Good. I love both guitars: electric and acoustic. I was born in Cuba, surrounded by multiple Afro-Cuban rhythms and jazz influence so, it is typical to listen to in my music these styles of music. For twelve years I was doing concert tours through Europe as a concert guitarist and I got interest for many styles of music like flamenco, fusion, pop, folklore and world music. These foreign influences are the guidelines in my actual musical compositions. Since I moved to The United States of America I have shared the stage with many fine musicians who also left their mark on my work. I hope you enjoy this album as I did recording it. Thanks...
