The seven pieces are romantic, in a mood more melancholy than merry. Some passages have certain mystery traits. The expressivity that the artist achieves with the piano is remarkable indeed, without the help of any other instruments. Beautiful melodies, perfectly intertwined, follow one another without ups and downs, in a work that Bonet's followers will no doubt appreciate. Bonet's style shows his peculiar personal technique.
