While Josefus' studio albums rocked until the cows came home this live recording is proof positive that their best performances were saved for concerts. Thank goodness the tapes used to compile this album survived some 35 years. Hear Josefus at their best. This is Texas psych that puts Josefus on the same hallowed level as Roky Erickson and the 13th Floor Elevators and Mike Knust and Fever Tree. Get it while you can. Read more...
I grew up in Houston and I saw Josefus at some of the concerts that are recorded on this CD. This is a band that was very underrated and never got the chance to show how really great they were to a larger audience. I highly recommend this CD to the original people that were there in the 60's and those that were not old enough but are curious about what great music and musicians we had back then. Read more...
