Who would think that after 35 years Josefus would still have all the energy they exerted on their two studio albums and their recent live album. This disc is full of Dave Mitchell's powerful guitar work and Pete Bailey's wailing voice. Sounds as if they had stayed together all these years. Too bad they didn't, but this disc is so full of energy and has nary a weak link among the tracks selected for this release. Fans of Josefus old and new should grab it while you can and while you're at it, make sure you have all their original albums. They always deliver.

reunions usually leave bitter sweet traces on our old ears. not always , after many years, the spark still shines. but in josefus' case, there's a fire burning as if 35 years have not passed. powerful bass lines, flashes of screaming guitars, rough and loud, all is here to fill our deepest desires. turn up volume, sit comfortably and enjoy a masterpiece.
