Seeing God Only Knows (long a favourite of my mothers) back to back with Wave (a tune that often features in practice when I care to pull the flugel or tenor horns out of their dusty cases!) I was intrigued. The CD Baby snippets confirmed this was an album I should invest in! Very original settings a gentle voice (that works well in tandem with Alan Vodicka's on God Only knows) ensures a pleasant yet challenging listen. In addition to the aforementioned, Shenandoah, Indiana and I See the Moon are all likely to feature on my car listening rota. The material is probably worth 5 stars but then as a minor quibble I think it's 3 songs short on the VFM front!
