An original Violin and Piano piece inspired by the melody of the famous hymn "My Jesus, I Love Thee" (1876). A combination of rhythms, harmonies, and moods will take you through a profound journey from the ethereal to bravura. As José interprets his own composition, he gratefully identifies with the original lyrics written more than 100 years ago: "My Jesus, I love thee, I know thou art mine...I love thee because thou hast first loved me and purchased my pardon on Calvary's tree..."
