ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I'm originally from Magnolia, Arkansas. Somewhere along the line, I started writing songs. I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe it had something to do with growing up in the early eighties. Some fun facts about me: My first job after dropping out of school was singing backup vocals for a Japanese bluegrass fiddler. The night before moving to New York I drove a 16-foot Ryder moving truck into the front lobby of a New Jersey hotel. My focus and interest in music has always been the sound. Growing up, I listened to: Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Dan Fogelberg, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Monkees, Jimi Hendrix. I love the hook, the musical idea and contemplating questions through song, questions like, Where did we come from? Where are we going? and Why do ninjas always pile out of vans? Right now, Im on this island of a million dreams and I'm just trying to write good music. Go Hogs.

Have you listened to 'Rain'? Where did this guy come from? That song is one of the most brilliantly written of it's kind, both in it's composition and in it's vocal simplicity. The CD as a whole has a nice flow to it, highlights definitely being 'Ninja's' and 'April'. If you like The Wallflowers, Ryan Adams and James Taylor, you will like this CD.

Bloody Brilliant - who'd have thought I'd meet you in such a random way and then be introduced to such wonderful music. I thank you!! (oh and holler if you're ever in UK!)

Awesome
It's simple. This cd is great.

Love IT!
Josh Moore's music has an amazing flow to it. Usually with singer-songwriters the songs all tend to sound the same but Josh has amazing versatility. Why is this not on the radio?
