Album Notes

I was born in Rommershausen, Germany, went to school and left it some years later to study philosophy, sociology and german language and literature until I got a PhD. I worked as a teacher at a High School for a short time, then learned programming and worked as system analyst. Today I'm project manager in a bank.

I sing and play guitar and other noisy instruments. I don't cover other people's songs. Albums: 1996 "Little Lies For Everyone", 2001 "Studies & Other Perversions 1", 2002 "Like A Muppet In Your Hand", 2003 "The Adventures Of Ciko", 2004 "Studies & Other Perversions 2", 2005 "Listen To My Alibis".
My songs are about lies, losers, nasty braggarts, love, stupidity and everyday madness.

Currently I work on a new album with my band in Frankfurt/Germany.

Members of the band:

Annick Moerman (vocals)
Ulli Stein (drums and percussion)
Achim Lingner (guitar and bass)
Jörn Bösel (bass)
JOS (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and programming)

I work with many people on the internet, for example with GinNger SparklezZz, Gary Gordon, Maxine Young, Syngularity.

The Elephant Album of Alibis
author: Ace
JO Simon offers some refreshing new sounds in some of his tracks with this release. The lead track, Listen to My Alibi is one of the best on here...and this leads into some other tracks of jazz fusion and rock with a psychedelic slant to it...JO Simon is from the creative scene in Germany...creative artwork on the album cover with the elephant holding the trumpet lends to the overall experience! There's a lot to like here.
