Album Notes

Music is the Universal Language. How many of us have not been touched by "music?" My life was touched at the age of 4 when I stood on stage at the VA Hospital in Columbia, SC and sang "If You Like-a Me" by Teresa Brewer and fell in love with not only music, but with singing and singing for "people!" I loved it!

Not much as changed since then....I still so love singing and singing for people! I love singing from many genres of music but my favorites are gospel, country, broadway and big ballads. I could not afford voice lessons but every now and then when I would have a little money, I would take a lesson or two from Mr. John Breeland who gave me such confidence......and for someone who sadly was beaten down by people who did not like my father because of his prescription drug and alcohol addictions and the fact that we were poor, I absorbed all of the positive Mr. Breeland gave me when I sang and vocalized. He would always say "You have such Spring in your voice." He also said, you have a gift....you can't teach someone how to sing...they have to have the voice first...

Today I use my music and my life story to share with others not only where I came from, but where God has brought me! He gave me the vision to build a non-profit for children and teens called "A Voice For Our Kids! The Adam Turner Children's Foundation"

Today I speak to groups and churches and go into shelters and take a stand for stronger laws against child abuse, domestic violence and childhood cancer.

All proceeds from the sales of "A VOICE for our KIDS!" and "If Daddy Could Hear Me Sing" will benefit our children's charity....it will help us to continue our vision and our personal outreach to children and teens going through abuse and those fighting life limiting illness's.
