Album Notes

Joyce Lofton is from a singing family. She started singing in the church in Tulsa, Oklahoma where her father was the pastor. Her siblings all sing, thus making family reunions great musical events.
Joyce has been singing a variety of styles including gospel, jazz, inspirational and rhythm and blues since childhood. She is the mother of two children, both of whom sing. Her daughter, Summer, a professional model and RN, joins her on this debut CD as a background vocalist.
Joyce sings at jazz clubs and restaurants in and around Dallas, Texas. She also appears at jam sessions and concerts on a regular basis.
Joyce performs from time to time with the Brent Van Sickle
Orchestra all over Texas, and is a former member of the "T-Byrd" Gordon Show Band.
