The Joy Circuit is a meaningless name devised by a trio of venerable Los Angeles Musicians: Tom Hensley & Alan Lindgren (both veteran studio players, but better known as the keyboard team which has backed singer Neil Diamond for the last three decades) and Larry Brown (also a veteran studio player, whose playing experience dates way back to a stint with Davey Allen and the Arrows, but who is better known today as a too-busy composer of TV & film scores).
In a bit of a lark, they agreed to put together an album of Christmas Music for a long-since-deceased label in the 1980s (they're since regained the rights to that album and will be offering it again eventually, but that's another story). They adopted the Joy Circuit name in keeping with that project, and it stuck around long enough for them to follow up their holiday effort with this completely different album of all-original (some of it VERY original) music, much of which sounds as out-of-the-moment as a decade ago, when it was recorded.
Musical preferences be damned, they tossed together every style imaginable in putting together this concoction. The enclosed booklet relates some kind of mumbo-jumbo story about a poodle groomer in the desert or somesuch, but it's not to be taken very seriously. Warning: this recording may cause you to want to operate an automobile.

Different Music

Unusual sounds from some very talented musicians, melodious tunes to lighten your load. Also, look for another CD from them called "Joy Circuit To The World" - all Christmas background melodies.
