Album Notes

The story always start in the same manner: you meet rock, you share your taste with your friends and you begin listening to all famous Rock Masters. I think you don’t need any name but if you like to know: Yes, ELP, Genesis, Queen, Pink Floyd, Police. After a while you become more critic about music and you split rockers in two categories: those you worship and those you hate. So you are ready for next step: make your own music and showing to the world what you mean for “honest music”.

This is, in few words, how we started to play, with an eye to the magic of progressive rock and the other to the feeling of pop rock. After ten years of songs made for our own pleasure, we decided to make us a gift and record our first CD, after many audio tapes. With our big surprise, professional sound engineers appreciated our works and convinced us to share our music with you.

Joyful The Sound is a dynamic duo that try to create original music moving from unforgettable ‘70s up to our days, without remaining tied to a particular kind of music.
We believe on fusion of styles, meaning of words, importance of rhythm and quality of melodies.
In this CD we have concentrated ten years of music, with songs going from prog-pop to hard rock, from soft ballads to easy listening.

What you’ll find on our CD :
1.Sparks : a hymn to vital sparkle, from which everything has been generated.
2.Room 101 : a tribute to the work of George Orwell, 1984, an ode to freedom.
3.No One Gets Back : an attempt to suggest a different way of thinking and feeling what is around us.
4.Unspoken Law : a song inspired by the masterpiece of Hayao Miyazaki Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.
5.Confession : a love song dedicated to…
6.Jingle Jack : the eternal doubt of insanity: are they crazy or they can see something beyond our reality?

We hope you enjoy it!
