The opening song 'my awkward left hand' gives a sense of where they have been heading for the last decade, the slightly obsessive yet humorous lyrics, the sheer energy of heavy guitars that manage to sound pop. No doubt, they are having serious fun doing this and even their darkest songs will make you smile (because, yes, we all like good well-crafted rock songs, don't we?)
