Out of the ashes of the band "Atomic Fantasy" the Solo Project Joyslam was forged. Vocalist/Keyboardist/Percussionist RJ Martine was determined to create a unique musical style. Recently signed to major label Trilogy Records, Joyslam brings an Explosive mix of Funk, Rock, Reggae, Dance and Ska that delivers that Summertime Feel & Attitude Driven Funky Stylee!!

Joyslam's Music is now receiving Airplay on Radio stations, Satellite Radio, and College Radio throughout the World.

As a result Joyslam has played several major Festivals including opening Rock Icon, Burton Cummings of the Guess Who to a crowd of over 50,000, Worldfest Multicultural Festival with musicians from Australia, South America, United Kingdom, Africa and Joyslam as the representatives of Canada. Also for Toronto's prestigious Festival of Beer, Fort Erie's Friendship & Sunsplash Festivals, the Come Together Festival and Canada Day Festivals throughout the country.

With over a decade of Music and Drama experience behind him, RJ Martine has accumulated an enormous knowledge of, intensity and experience in the arts, particularly music. After touring throughout North America, RJ cut his ties with Acting and concentrated all his efforts on Singing, he now has an incredible 5 octave range.

Joyslam’s rhythm section compliments that intensity by delivering a sound that is one of astounding groove, energy, flow, and soul. Laying down a solid foundation with the rare and unique ability to balance both technicality and feel. Rounded out by the guitars pumping a uniquely fluid and diverse sound with an uncompromising precision.
