Album Notes

With the recent onslaught of DJs, Producers and "Blog-Artist-Extraordinaries," taking over the music scene, one has to make a significantly bold statement to be taken serious...
For producer, remixer, DJ and, (most important,) musician Jared "J.Paul" Jackson, this statement has most recently been made by "Chemical Dependence." This dark and obscure track made possible by the haunting vocals of Skaught Parry and Chris Ruff of the eclectic band Kaddisfly, is a perfect example of the musicianship needed to be singled out in the sea of artists currently working in the electronic/ dance mucic scene. "Chemical Dependence" has been making headway throughout the U.S. with current airplay on radio stations such as KNRJ, KNGY and KVFX, not to mention recent and continual appearances on XM and SIRIUS satellite radio. International attention has been received through the long reach of club killing remixes generating from New York (Speakerbox), to across the pond locations Spain (Peter Brown) and the U.K. (Warren Meyers).

This swelling buzz has been due to the near-perfect equation of J.Paul's experience of studio work and performances with the likes of electronic artists Kaskade, Paul Oakenfold, BT, Kenneth Thomas, Dfuse, Bad Boy Bill and Tiesto, (to name a few) coupled with his recent signing to Dance Music Label/ Carrillo Music. Now having the formula of experience, showmanship, music and method in order, J.Paul has become a force to be reckoned with, not only in the electronic scene, but the music world in general.
J.Paul has most recently been immersed in the studio while holding down three to five gigs per week in preparation for playing out as far as his tracks have so rapidly and recently traveled.
