Album Notes

Skip Adams ,( publisher ) founder of Global graffiti Music said about Jacques PELLARIN 's music .

Composer and accordion virtuoso , Jacques PELLARIN is a musical " Master chef" of sorts .With a gleeful abandon ,he mixes the exotic flavors of New Tango , 1890's Parisian bal musette , Bossas, Jazz-ballad , Swing -valse , Balkan folk and even classic french cinema , serving it up in a contemporary dish that is hot , fresh and uniquely his own!

Like any respectable French meal, this cd has many courses , twelve in fact ;ranging from the zesty "Ménage à trois ", to the more muted classically influenced " Belle étoilée".
Adding variety to his eclectic table are several servings of Latina Cucina from Spain to South America in the form of such delicacies "Song for CO" , "Milong -Jazz" and " Free Tango."
Then, in case you've become complacent he presents you with a striking creation like " Un air de famille " , a swirling gypsy masterpiece , or a dash of the middle east with " Le swing des Carpates "
However, no French feast would be complete without some wonderful wine to wash it all down, and Jacques does not disappoint!
Close your eyes while you have a sip of " Valse pour François", "Blush " or " L'Insouciante ".
If you are not immediately transported to a wonderful little Brasserie on the Champs-Elysée , then you have simply never seen April in Paris .....Hungry yet ?

National public radio for " Sous d'autres Jazzitudes "
Jazzitudes 's songs like Valse pour François, Free tango and Ménage à trois have aired as extended " musical interludes " on the popular NPR program " Morning edition " in June 2007 with nearly 13 millions listeners !

As I sit and listen to Jacques for the first time, I am overwhelmed by the beauty and sensitivity he brings the instrument. The writing is top shelf and the execution of the music is world class. A must have CD for jazz and world music lovers everywhere. This one stays in my CD player. Bravo!

New and exciting CD
author: JohnRobinson English Composer GBMProd'ns
Jazzitudes is a new exciting CD which displays the talents of top-class French Accordionist/Composer, Jacques Pellarin. He has composed most of the melodic and varied music which is beautifully interpreted in an intimate way by his group. I recommend that this atmospheric CD is listened to late at night with a glass of wine.
