Album Notes

JP blends elements of many kinds of music - Folk, Fingerstyle, Funk, New Age, and Alt Rock. He strives to test the limits of his instrument and write inventively. But his style is complemented by a fondness for more traditional songwriting that takes from many genres. JP is a Washington, DC native and continues to be based out of DC.

Other Side of the Mirror is jp's first professional studio effort. The album was recorded over the first half of 2005 at Cue Studios in Falls Church, Virginia. OSM is music written entirely by jp, and performed by jp and Tom White. jp has two other CDs: No Sense of Direction, which he recorded in 2008 and which is also available on CD Baby, and More Songs About Death and Mispronunciation, which he recorded in 2003 but was not mass produced, although it is available by email request or at shows.
