Album Notes

Some groups are formed by fate, some by design and others by accident. We are a quintet hailing from Metro-west Boston consisting of Steve Howard on guitar and vocals, Margie Howard and Jess Andra on vocals, Jon Hansen on electric bass and Todd Verdun on Keyboards, guitar and vocals.
The genre-breaking music of The Accidentals' recent release, October Song, has been featured on WZLX 100.7FM Boston radio's Sunday Morning Blues program.
Steve's first cd, Dreams, has received acclaim from Independent Songwriters Magazine (cd of the month, Jan. 04)as well as being chosen for inclusion in the Best of Boston songwriters compilation cd in May of 2004.
The Accidentals are "Blue-wop" and "Blue-wop" is us. What is Blue-wop? It is an ecletic blend of blues, doo-wop,
accoustic roch and some very stylin' harmonies.
The Accidentals are the best "blue-wop" band in Boston and possibly the only blue-wop band in Boston. For that matter New York, Detroit and San Francisco as well.
Give it a listen and pick up a copy. If you would like to check out what we are up to or would like to contact us, please go to www.accidentalsmusic.com . We would love to hear from you.
Thanks,
The Accidentals

REVIEWS

Blending styles like no one else can, seamlessly
author: Tom Perkins producer/engineer
Steve has done it again. He followed up his "Dreams" CD with another terrific record. There are several different styles present, but somehow woven together seamlessly within his unique style. Bleedin' Heart could be the single; October Song is a beautiful tribute to his late mom. Hercules takes me back to my youth, and could have been on the O Brother Where art thou? soundtrack. The production is again excellent, everyone on this record has done a superb job.
