Album Notes

Jim Boutwell wrote a song called "The Road to Wounded Knee" and through sales made gathered up $3,000 in three months to pay for a trip to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. There he did a benefit concert for the Suanne Big Crow Rec Center. Suanne Big Crow was a 17 year old Lakota girl killed in a car crash the night after her very first date. While he was there Jim was accepted as a Lakota brother to the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Upon his return home he wrote another song called "Lakota Angel", a tribute to Suanne Big Crow. This is the title song to the album that also features "The Road to Wounded Knee", "Finding You" and "Unsung Hero." Jim was also awarded the name "Two Feathers" by the Tribe.
