Album Notes

JTIOM? think French when saying it... A Jim and two Toms.

Jim Gasper, Tom Dukes and Tom Privett have been making music together for about twenty odd years.

Jim and Tom D. grew up together in Indiana.

They relocated to Tucson Arizona where they recorded and performed together as "Gasper & Dukes".

Jim was introduced to Tom Privett and joined the band "The Mobile Cubes" this band featured local guitar legend "Rubin Ruiz".

The Cubes played and recorded together for about four years they were on the brink of snagging a recording contract with Warners Brothers, when the bottom fell out.

Total musicial burnout..

Everybody took some much needed time off.

It was around 1990 when Tom Dukes, Mike Adair, Ruben Ruiz Tom Privett, and Jim Gasper got together to record a cd project under the name "The Free Holy Men".

One of the songs "The Last Cowgirl" was featured on a CD compilation for a small independent Label called "Rocket
Records."

We have just released "JTIOM" a five song cd of original material.

In December we begin rehearsals for live shows in Tucson, and Phoenix.
Our music has been described as "Neil Young meets the Beatles, with James Taylor and Joe Jackson sitting in."

Ariana Records was founded in 1980 by Jim Gasper & Tom Dukes.
We release origional music to the Southwest.
These are some of the artists that record for Ariana.
Baby Fishmouth, Stompbox, Thank God F4 Fingers, Odds& Ends, Big White Teeth, The Rakeheads, New World Slavery,

The local band JTIOM, blew the place away.... Great vocals, tasty origionals, and what a band! It's nice to see musicians who are experienced reaping the rewards of the music industry. No three chord sissy stuff here, well thought out songs. The rumor at the concert was that there close to signing a deal with one of the major players. I say good luck! They are ready for the Bigtime!!!!!

I think "JTIOM" are the next big thing out of Arizona. They have great vocals, and they have tons of origional material. I saw them live open for Cheap Trick and they blew the place away!
