Album Notes

The songs for JTIOM 2 were actually written and recorded
before the origional JTIOM cd.
Sometime between 1996-1999, myself, along with Tom P.
recorded these songs on a Tascam 488 cassette recorder.
We then mixed everything to a stereo cassette mix.
I put the cassettes in a drawer for 4 years.
In 2003 I rerecorded the songs to a digital cd recorder,
the results.....
One critic who reviewed the cd said, and I quote
" JTIOM 2 shows talent and sheer innovation.
Intense vocal presence,mixing electronic funk
and a wild vibe that sneaks up on you,
around every corner.
Recording and fun done in the "MoleHole"
In Tucson, Az."

JTIOM 2 This cd is strange, wonderful, and by all means homegrown. This is Lo-Fi at it's best. Recorded using low budget gear, and a Tascam 8trk cassette player these guys made music out of madness! The song Toyfunk, written and recorded using toys, that's cool. Every bedroom musician should own this cd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The members of Jtiom have been sending me their cds for about 5 years now. I like them, but I never write about them. Well here goes, I found Jtiom 2, to be cool, weird, "Homegrown" I like the concept, worshipping money that whole artistic thing.
