Rocketing out of the backwoods with a smile as large as the chip on the universe's shoulder, J.T. Bowman launches J.T. Bowman & Lerlene Stackwood, six would-be country hits tracing the demise of a romantic relationship and its 21st-century after-effects.
"I knew things were goin' bad between us," J.T. says, "but, hell... I was looking for the remote."
"And I really tried to work it out," Lerlene shrugs. "Every woman knows marriage is truly sacred. But then I realized that I'd married... J.T. Bowman."
The result? Real country music that could be created and played only in a place where the fun is superseded by, well, more fun. J.T. Bowman has a savage knack!
author: Reggie Lohr
I work a dull job by day, and I drink heavily by night. It's a cycle. Recently a friend broke the tedium when he passed along this CD (okay, he emailed me "Married to the Couch")... and I was all over it! J.T. has a savage knack for a hook, and Lerlene is THE country anti-heroine (Gretchen Wilson, pack it in). So fight for your right to party... and for your right to sleep in the trailer. Better yet, get this CD!

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW
author: Bruce Boschert
I am a huge country fan and this one has everything that is good about the country genre. I live in the heartland of the US of A (Kansas City MO). The raw emotions displayed and the vocal range of JT and Lerlene have me saying WOW WOW WOW. My wife has always made more money than me, and as a result I too felt married to the couch. The only difference between me and JT is that I have had multiple liposuction operations (mostly on my buttocks).
