Blues vocalist J.T. Watkins began his musical career at age 12 watching learning from his piano playing, grandfather. As a teenager, J.T. performed playing the small blues club circuit around Mississippi. He recorded his single, "Baby Let's Get Married" in 1991. His second single was "Love to See You Smile" in 1992. The big break for J. T. came in 1997 when he released first album "I Can't Get Over You. A 2002 release of "A Tribute to Some Of the Greatest. The third album "Father and Song Sing the Blues in Mississippi. The new millennium has brought new exciting opportunities for J.T., in films. J.T. was a featured performer in the recently released blues documentary, "Last of the Mississippi Jukes" recently aired on the Starz channel, one of the songs on the soundtrack of the album "End of the Rainbow: also performs in a new movie film called "Woman by the Devil's Fire" in Vicksburg, Mississippi soundtrack "Mother-In-Law Blues. J.T. is one of the greatest Mississippi bluesman ever. Received an award from the Jackson Music's award through the City of Jackson classfield him as king of R&B Blues in July 2003.
