Juanita Family And Friends

by Juanita Family And Friends

The sort of country that makes you think of being in a deep-south bar at two in the morning when the pick-up’s broken down outside. You’ve got nowhere to go and no way of getting there so you knock back one more beer and pick up the guitar.
Genre: Country: Traditional Country

Album Notes
This is Lana's debut country album, with the Juanita Family and Friends. Lo-fi, and simple production wraps these classic Lana Rebel tunes like a warm fuzzy hug. This was Lana's first country band, that traveled the US, and even went to London for a BBC session on Radio1. A great little group that included standup bass(Dylan Reilly), a Wurlitzer piano and lap slide(Ben Wildenhaus), and girly back up singersEmily Butler, Holly Morgan and Cari Dolyniuk).
Recorded in Mike Stanioch's basement studio, "the Ship", and Mastered by MIke Lastra
Physical copies of this album are no longer available.
